We believe that humans and nature need to co-exist in order for the planet to survive, we are here to help make that happen by providing Environmental Solutions to you at a reasonable cost.
The Challenge:
Federal, State and local governments have identified air, soil,
and water pollution as a serious environmental threat. The fact
that these environmental concerns pose a significant public health
risk is reason enough to manage them in the most responsible manner
possible. Beyond that, liability issues arising from the collection
and disposal of these materials must be considered. United
Waste Services offers solutions, which protect both the
environment and the organizations held responsible of contaminated
soils or water.
Thermal Treatment and Soil Recycling
Modern technology offers several proven methods for the processing and recycling of contaminated soils. Analysis of the soil, its mineralogy and its contaminants determines which process is most appropriate: thermal desorption or soil recycling. Thermal desorption results in a clean, stabilized material that may be used in a number of applications, including the manufacture of brick, cement or other building materials. Soils may be either shipped to processing plants or, in some cases, treated on site. Soil recycling entails beneficially reusing the contaminated soil as daily cover at fully licensed Subtitle D Landfills that have the most environmentally advanced controls to monitor their activities.
The Process
From your first telephone call to United Waste Services,
your project will be assigned to a qualified environmental professional

and disposal of soil or a full turnkey project calling for soil
analysis and excavation, United Waste Services
will track your project from start to finish. You will be kept abreast
of our progress as we work to eliminate both the contaminated soil
and liability attached to it. We can arrange for pickup of your
project promptly after receiving your analytical results.
Every truck is accompanied by a manifest, which we provide at no cost to you, and each truck is weighed, to ensure the accuracy of our paperwork. Additionally, weight tickets and completed manifests are then returned to you when our paperwork is complete, and a Certificate of Recycling or Destruction will be provided.
Total Commitment
United Waste Services is committed to the safe,
cost effective disposal of contaminated media. To achieve this objective,
we diligently monitor every detail of a project. Each truck load
of contaminated soil is loaded under the supervision of a United
Waste Services project coordinator. Trucks transporting
the soil are weighed and a manifest is generated which assures accurate
billing and accurate tracking. When the soil is delivered to the
appropriate processing plant and treated, the generator receives
a certificate of recycling or destruction. This document is final
evidence and proof that the contaminated media has been disposed
of in a proper and permanent manner.
United Waste Services can also handle all other
types of contaminated soil and aqueous solutions; such as Chlorinated
Solvents, Heavy Metals, Pesticides, Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Polychlorinated
biphenyls (PCB's) and etc. Call United Waste Service's
professional staff for your next project.
